Deauville Yacht Club

The Deauville Yacht Club is a certified French Sailing School affiliated with the French Sailing Federation. It is also certified for competitions. The association oversees the initiation, teaching and practice of water sports, the organization of sailing and motorboat races and all other related activities. The DYC offers sailing for competition and leisure to enthusiasts of all levels. Made-to-measure programmes can be organized for company events.

The DYC is the only club in Calvados dedicated to this craft and has become a leader in its domain. The Deauville Yacht Club (DYC), created in 1928, organizes about fifteen regattas every year. With 250 licence-holding members, it is one of the main clubs in Normandy. A wide range of courses are organized.
The sailing school, certified Ecole Française de voile, offers sailing lessons for anybody, especially schools.
